Today, we will take overnight flight to South Africa’s largest city – Johannesburg, arrive the 3^rd day.

Upon arrival, city tour will follow, which includes the Parliament, old castle, town hall, and other historical monuments. If weather permitting, we will take★ cable car to Table Mountain for panoramic view. Enjoy lobster lunch, shortly after, depart for Boulders, where you can watch penguin colony. Continue to Botanical Garden near Cape Point. Later, we will take cable car to top of the mountain overlooking cape of Good Hope and spectacular view where Atlantic Ocean meets the Indian Ocean.

After breakfast, travel to Oudtshoorn via Garden Route. Upon arrival, we will visit Post Office. In 1500, Pedro d’Ataide left a letter in a seaman’s boot under the milk wood tree. We will also visit★ museum. Later, travel to Oudtshoorn– the ostrich capital of the world, visit★ ostrich farm to experience daily activities in the farm, such as feather clipping, ostrich ride etc.

After breakfast, we will tour Cango Caves, located 29km from Oudtshoorn. This cave was found in 1780, you will see dripstone caverns with towering formations. After breakfast, we will travel to Johannesburg by air. Upon arrival, we will visit ★ Lion Park, a 500 acre wildlife conservation. The Park has over 80 lions and many other animals such as South African cheetah, Cape wild dog hyena, black-backed jackal and antelope. It is a great place to observe wild life. Later, return to Johannesburg, city tour will follow: to Nelson Mandela Square, a six meter high bronze statue of Nelson Mandela was unveiled here. It is surrounded with many hotels, boutiques and restaurants.

This morning, depart for world famous wildlife preserve★ Kruger National Park located in northeastern South Africa. It is one of the largest game reserves, covers 19,485 square kilometers of land. Its high density of wild animals include the big 5(lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalos). There are also hundreds of mammals, diverse bird species are all part of the landscape. Afternoon, to Blyde River Canyon, a significant natural feature, It is 16 mile in length and 2461 ft deep. The canyon consists mostly of red sandstone. We will tour natural wonders, such as ★Bourke’s Luck Potholes and ★God’s Window.

Today, depart for Pretoria, the administrative capital of South Africa, known as “Jacaranda City” for its thousands of jacaranda trees. Upon arrival, city tour will follow: Church Square, Union Buildings and ★Voortrekker Monument, it was built to commemorate the Afrikaans settlers who arrived in the country during 1830s. Afternoon, to Sun City, a luxury resort and casino, situated in the north west of South Africa. We will stay at Palace Hotel, a 5 star hotel, its unique setting on an extinct volcanic site among the Pilanesberg mountains.
